Considering he’s always had a passion for cars and fixing anything and everything, Evan decided to go to school at Universal Technical Institute in 2011. A year later, he graduated with honors and soon after started off in Quick Lane at a local Ford dealer changing oil and tires. Fast forward a few months, Evan worked his way up to doing gasoline driveability and line work and later transitioned into diesel work. He stayed and worked at the same dealership for 5 years and then found better opportunities at another Ford dealership where he stayed an additional 2 years before taking that “leap of faith” and opening up his own shop.
Not only was Evan working on vehicles by himself, he did everything and anything the shop required for 2.5 years- everything from answering the phone, ordering parts, scheduling, checking people out, filing paperwork, etc. From then on, he realized he needed more helping hands that offered the same quality of service he gives and likes to receive.
If Evan isn’t at work, you can find him playing video games or his legos at home.
OFFICE MANAGER, CAROLINA
Carolina started off as part time in 2019 when COVID hit, and the hair industry was forced to be closed down temporarily. Since she wasn’t allowed to do women’s hair, she ventured out and decided to find a job that was considered “essential”.
After a few months, she went back to work at the hair salon and soon realized that it wasn’t the same as before- supplies went up and clients stayed home til they felt safe again to be somewhere public, and in close proximity to someone. Trying to make it work at the hair salon and the shop, it soon got way too busy at the garage, and much less at the salon. That is when she decided to quit the salon and become full time at the shop in August 2021. She’s been thriving in the office ever since!
Carolina still does hair on the side sometimes, but she definitely takes her relaxing time very serious.
